Unfortunately I do not have a waiting room facility.

How many sessions will I need?
For Counselling and Psychotherapy I will only accept a minimum of six sessions as there is good evidence that this is the minimum required to build a relationship on which the work is integral. Sessions are usually held weekly, but I can be flexible for Counselling Students.
Cognitive Hypnotherapy requires a first session of two hours in order to build a background history which enables me to produce scripts designed with you in mind. You will need a minimum of one following session. For some progress can be swift, however, some problems seem so large or have been bothering clients for so long they may need to take bite size pieces in order to make it more palatable for them to adjust. Others enjoy this genre of therapy and return regularly to address multiple issues.
Fundamentally after your initial sessions, I am guided by you, when you feel ready to move on then that’s the time you are ready. It’s good to remember that the real change happens between sessions so a break in the work can sometimes be useful to help recognise and embed progress you have made.
How to pay
Payment is by BACS transfer in advance of your sessions
